Isobel Ann Martin hails from the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland.
She started singing at a young age and went on to win the Traditional Gold Medal at ‘The Royal National Mod’ in 2005, at the tender age of 18. She had been keeping a relatively low profile with only occasional musical outings on various CDs and a few television appearances.

However, the spotlight is now firmly on her alone, with the release of her stunning debut album, Duslach is `Or (Dust & Gold) produced by Calum Martin. It shows off her distinct and versatile vocals on both traditional, contemporary and self penned gaelic songs.

Accompaniment has been provided by great musicians from both Nashville and Scotland including Malcolm Jones and Blair Douglas.
